Area of origin
Rocca de' Giorgi (PV)
Service T °
08/10°C
Ground
Clayey and calcareous
Tasting notes
Color: straw yellow with greenish reflections. Fine and persistent perlage.
Aroma: Bouquet characterized by hints of white flowers, apple and hints of hazelnut.
Taste: dry, enveloping with a well-balanced freshness.
Technical notes
The grapes carry out a soft pressing and the free-run must (yield of 65%) is fermented in steel tanks. The base wine stays on the fine lees until December and then it is submitted to the sparkling process in autoclaves (Charmat method). When the secondary fermentation is completed, the wine ages for 6 months on the lees and it is bottled with a residue.
Pairings
It is a great wine for an aperitifs by the sea.
